Indeed, our awesome prowess in the sprints accounts for much of our success.
But it's not the whole story.
We are second in the Marathons which isn't too bad if you consider some of the huge teams trailing in our wake. Our position strengthened a couple of hours ago as our WCG team overtook P3DN to take 4th place in that particular race, which is far from run yet!

Cheers Gregg, absolutely we need to mix it up a bit, do some more Primegrid & other Boincstats competitions as well as Formula BOINC in 2024. Assuming of course that FB continues in 2024 - nobody has heard from Sebastien for many many months.

Finally we have some fight-back!
But once the effects of the swings & roundabouts of outrageous fortune have been totted up the setback isn't too bad.

The main event was Russia taking the lead from us on Gerasim.
The seven points thus lost were largely offset by small gains on Wanless & WCG.
Brace yourselves for a likely further 7 point hit on Yafu.
We also need to see off an attack by P3DN on SRBase.

We are under siege!
But our reserves are plentiful and we'll be relieved come Hogmanay!
As predicted Ukraine bumped us out of the top spot on YAFU. Hopefully this is a temporary irritation.
But we're holding off PD3N on SRBase & making good progress on WCG and Wanless.
Overall we are still in a position our opponents can only dream about.

It'll be our third league one win in a row!

I'll probably celebrate by eating and drinking too much! But it's Xmas/New Year so there might be some of that going on whatever!

Certainly not just FB - assuming it survives, which it might or might not.
IMHO we need to diversify. More PG races, and other BS challenges and a serious attempt at the BOINC Pentathlon.
Anything really apart from BoincGames.

Given the limited time I can devote to this site, there will be no Formula BOINC race in 2024.
I warmly thank Timbo for animating this competition in 2023.

And there was no proper announcement of the end of the 2023 competition.
Although all the figures point to a conclusive TSBT victory.
Along with a clean sweep of TSBT victors in the first ever individual competition!
But pulling the plug with 2 days to go? It’s a seriously shitty way to end the longestanding BOINC competition.

But there is a glimmer of hope.
UBT-Timbo has been told by Sebastien that he might be allowed to carry the FB baton.
