Just crunching away. As long as my sister allows me to use her 2 computers(a quad and a laptop), I guess I'll inch my way up.

I was looking at computers today and spotted an AMD Phenom X-64 Quad that runs at 2.4 with 8GB DDR2 800Mhz Ram and interestingly a 3000MHz FSB with 3MB of L3 cache. Now that puppy running with a 64 bit OS should just obliterate w/u's.

If Boincstats is to be believed Buster has now moved to second place overtaking Nightlord [UBT has NL holding on thanks to a major PS3Grid upload not yet reflected in Boincstats but the trend is clear].

Both of them are gaining on me rapidly although a switch to optimised Seti, limiting my WCG to 1500 or so, might help me delay the inevitable by a week or three. Come & get me boys!

Well done Buster, I should temporarily regain 2nd slot in a day or two when Einstein updates, but the writing is on the wall. Looking to remake 2nd a more permanent position in a month or two

Just make sure you use the optimised client. It's the mutts nuts! :)

Now the WCG slog is over I'm turning nearly everthing over to optimised seti, with just enough WCG to keep us afloat and to get me that million: It won't be enough to maintain my supremacy but it should let me delay the stomping of me by you for slightly longer than the 13 days currently prophesised by BoincStats. Call me ambitionless but my goal is to stay #1 until September at least!

I guess we should change the name of the thread to utopia-1 approacheth.

Steady on. Dead is overstating the extent of my fall. I am merely deposed but happy to take my place as a loyal subject of King Buster. As for further sinking, I'm holding you off fairly well for the time being!
