WCG is experiencing some server side problems at the moment. You may well have several WU queued up waiting to upload.

See this thread: http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forum ... read=20201
and this one: http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forum ... read=20204

Last night I had a couple of dozen WU stuck uploading. They cleared overnight, but I have several more queued up once again this morning. No doubt they will fix the problem, but it looks like a long weekend in WCG land

Aye I've noticed a load of them waiting to upload since the early hours of yesterday.

Just means we'll get a bumper load of points shortly :)

All but one of my machines had a healthy cache of WCG units to crunch so hopefully it wont affect us too much.

Cheers for the info, I finally managed to get to a computer over stateside, and checked how my computers were doing. WCG has been fine, but only put in 110 credits yesterday, I suspect that this might have something to do with the problem you described

Uploading was pretty difficult yesterday but it hasn't been too bad today. Our stats have recovered, although the bonanza is yet to come, and we are up to 136th! :D

Not really, not in this thread, but there's no harm in it!

Of course since I posted that things were improving on the upload front I've not been able to upload a single WCG result. Ach well, along with my nearly 7,000 of pending credit for Einstein, it all adds up to an awful lot of deferred gratification for the team & me! :D

WCG Uploads. Oh yea, I do those every eight days. Hopefully it will be fixed by then (Wed). If not, then the excruiciating process will become even more painful. One would think that a large IP company like IBM could put a little more beef into their uploads and downloads. It seems to me that they use a regular modem, whereas, a T1 would be appreciated.

Maybe I should do my upload a little early in case of problems.

Nice to see 137th. And the fight continues.

Hmm, things seem ok now. I've uploaded and reported a few work units without any hassle. Of course, it's tomorrow night (probably) that I have to upload the entire cache from my work machine...
