Half way thru and we are 12th of 17, generally not trying and neither is anyone else & the challenge "chat" consists of a single comment - oh the banter.
So long as we keep top 100.

I have 1 gpu running seti constantly only for the team world standings. I make no special effort for Seti competitions as they are constant and meaningless, and the credit truly suxs . What I put into the competition is what I put into the team everyday.
I far prefer the small competitions like NFS, Numbers , Asteroids etc where there is banter and a sense of competition with the people around you in the standings.

As you say the credit sucks, but all the same I have a fondness for SETI : It's where I and the team started in 1999. And, while it's a bit of a long shot, it would shake things up if it found a radio using extraterrestrial civilisation! 8) it would make Galileo's attack on the anthropocentric world religions look pretty tame.
