Back on land for a little while so will try to mount some form of a challenge despite the death of my cruncher 2000 miles away. Not what I had planned that's for sure. Had been eying up top 10 perhaps, oh well. do the best I can with a laptop.

I am only top because ThrasherX-17 stopped crunching less than a day in to the crunch and has not yet returned.

I expect he will be back on the last day and will zip past us at a dramatic rate of knots, just because he can.

Me too!

Team-wise it looks pretty much all clear. If we haven"t won I'll give £20 to anyone who posts a prediction otherwise before the close of play ( if you are wrong I want a tenner.)

Individually ThasherX-whatever might well force me into 3rd. I can handle that.

I certainly won't be slowing down. I have found 3 more cores to add but he is catching me at a crazy rate. I doubt I will last more than 6 hours at top spot, let alone 12.

He certainly is pouring on the coals but you might hold out... 8)

I've snagged 11th which i'm desperately trying to hold onto. Have the guys behind me got a large offline cache to suddenly report ?

He hasn't hit Mach 14.5 yet and, hopefully, he's already fired his third stage and is on the way down... :D

By my calculations if Janos keeps his average at current levels he should make no.1 by 3.000 - 5.000 sponduliks. At least that's my bet... 8)

So here's a bit of encouragement:

I think the Penguin might be right. :)

I am throwing everything I have at it and have managed to improve my hourly rate a fair bit (but to the detriment of everything else). The rate he is gaining is still impressive but I should be able to keep ahead, unless he hits the turbo.

He has upped his pace yet again. He must have quite some set up at home (or office). So it looks like I am taking home the silver. Mega will be taking home the bronze.

We have done superbly well as a team and we are well over double the next team.
