I believe it's also the only day of the year you can call your wife / girlfriend/ better half / other half or whatever .....WENCH .... and they must serve you beer.

Well, shivver me timbers! She'd probably string ya up by the yardarm if you did... I suspect that there is a good reason most pirates spend a lot of time at sea and it's not just because they've lost the map and the compass... 8)

Aaarrgh! Ye scurvy ship's rat ye! 'Twas a dirty trick , played on us poor landlubbers, damn your typing finger, ooh arr! [I might be getting my pirate & Wurzel dialects confused here].

We need better public awareness before this becomes safe. The WENCH declined to get me beer & just poked me in the unpatched eye before kicking me extremely hard in the crutch. It wasn't much better at work where I tried to chair a meeting in the style of Long John Silver only to have security remove me and my parrot from the premises.

Aaarrgh, 'tis rampant piratophobia, damn their rancid buttocks! Aargh!
