Time to go hang out with Albert :)

Now there's a dilemma. Stick with the Seti comp(s) or move onto Albert

You might be going for 3rd but i'm not really bothered.Alez wrote: I'm in 6th, Mega in 11th. we going for 3rd & 4th again ?

To get anywhere I'd have to use my GPUs, which at this stage in my Boinc career I shall be keeping focused on Collatz.

I had a few WUs bunkered on my laptop, hence my suddenly respectable showing, but i'll be quite happy to make top quartile individually and for us to end somewhere mid-table teamwise.

Fair enough, I'll kick on as surprise, surprise, yes I am going for 3rd. ( don't think higher is realistic, but doesn't mean I won't try ). Can't help myself. Yoda's do or do not
:) Besides I need to improve my stats on Albert, GPUGrid and my embarrassingly low showing on Seti.
Talking of individual choices, no show for a while by Gary Mc , is this normal ? Hope he hasn't quit the team.

I'll give it a wee bit more as well. I'm not bothering to seek individual glory but we are so close to taking 5th place from Norway that I can't help weighing in. Lots of pending WUs.
As for Gary he's certainly not left us but he has been inactive for quite a few weeks now. Hopefully he will return rested before too long.

Up to 180 pending
We have passed Norway now, but I've been given the shout to go away so later tonight I will be configuring everything for hopefully hands off crunching whilst I'm away on collatz, primegrid and gpugrid. There is no chat on the challenge and only 56 guys taking part so no reason to take it too seriously and destroy my RAC by leaving as is whilst I'm away.

Norway seem to be thoroughly spanked! :)
You've got your third place! :wav:
As you say we've got lots of pending and if the chat is anything to go by we're the only ones interested, which, since I for one frankly couldn't really give a flying one, should be reason for concern!
So we can probably ease off with a clear conscience. :)

I've still got 190 k pending...... have eased right off, no point really. The sad thing is the team that called the challenge are hardly even competing. There are only 2 of them. Why call a challenge just because you can ? Surely the point is, well I'm not sure. Confused.
Never mind, nice little boost for the team to keep this as one of our top projects.

Despite our lack of interest I couldn't help but notice that we have passed our usual french rivals.

We ended up 4th from 13 ahead of all our usual rivals
Individually
alez [ TSBT's Pirate ] 7th
Megacruncher TSBT 21st
Skywalker TSBT 34th
Buster Gunn 63rd
so despite our lack of interest a good showing.
