Seems there is a problem with Boincstats and the credit s not updating. No user credit is being displayed. @scole250, we participate in all the comps to a greater or lesser extent. There are no strict rules but all contributions are welcome. If you want to go for it then do, there will always be a few of us joining you.

Using BAM, but I still don't have multi system, multi project management quite down yet. We'll see what happens.

Using BAM because I have too many hosts, too far away from me :(
Hopefully some of my credit pending will start to come through as I'm on the second page of the stats

My RAC is dropping like it's being sucked in by a black hole. Everything seems to be going pending :( I'm not at my computers just now but from what I can infer I'm getting nothing but gamma ray pulsar searches which take 1 1/2 - 2 hours to do and pay 660 credits
Is this what everyone else is seeing ?
I certainly don't remember that credit was this bad on Einstein. It was never good but this is Seti cpu for gpu tasks credit

It is people caching their WU's pre comp. They are helping you out by making a cache for you :)

I think we have a shot at taking 14th place from AMD Users if we could get just a little more resource towards Einstein.

At the half way point we are running 15 from 26. Not a bad effort but not brilliant, more middle of the road. AMD and ourselves are level pegging. They are catcable but only if more peeps chip in. On the other hand our team RAC is rising and the next few days should see us move upwards in the world top 100 away from 97th that we currently occupy which is always good.

Scole you are currently in 167th, so you definitely have a shot at top 100 before the end.
Keep up the good work all. Image

Taking care to reply to rather than edit the post.

I'd missed this. :( I'll give Einstein a mighty blast in a few hours. All GPUs and cores at once for a couple of days That'll make a difference. Lets aim for top 10.

AMD users are well beaten, which puts us 14th. :bounce:
To be realistic, with 40 hrs to go, top 10 is probably beyond us but we could capture 13th from the Koreans.
We will also move up to 93rd in the all time Einstein rankings in a couple of hours. :D

That's a win win for a couple of days crunching. Always nice to see Einstein in the safe zone although the fact that I am making 1/10th my usual RAC is discouraging for long term commitment to moving Einstein upwards.

It does make it a tougher decision to run when the credit isn't too attractive.
Well done everyone who is taking part :thumbright:

Einstein sure is slow giving credit. It's painful to watch the number of tasks in pending credit rise so close to the end of the challenge.

16 hours to go, touch and go whether we can catch Korea or not. I suspect not, but it will be close and depend on the vague whims of the validator. At least all the pending is credit in the bank that you will get in the next few weeks.
On the world stakes, France and Boinc@Austria are tantalisingly close. Might just stay on this for a few more days and see if they can be crushed

Einstein is also our most obvious project to achieve 9 digit status. Maybe we should pick a date and see if we can get it there by our chosen time.

Since I was late to the challenge I'll stay on it for a while after to help you out.
I think it's a good idea to make an effort to hit 9 figures. How about we set up a challenge where we should break 9 digits during the comp?
At current challenge rates it would only take around a month to get there but our normal rate will be a fair bit slower.

Only 6 hours to go. Given another 24 think we would catch Korea but at the moment unless Mr Pen Ding stops being a tight wad or someone has a bunch of units squirreled away for a penalty shootout win then 14 it will be.
At the rate we are shifting we could have 92nd in the world stats in less than 2 days :D and 91st a couple of hours later. Seems like a decent way to spend the weekend Image

Yep we've to settle for half way- 14th of 27. Okayish! :)
Best is our move up the all time rankings. 93rd today with further gains possible, although I for one will be finishing off the remaining work & then sitting back, waiting for anyone who thinks that they're hard enough to try and challenge me for team #1!
