After the Pirate challenges, how about a TSBT challenge or two? Any projects you would like to issue a challenge on Megacruncher?

We're crunching for TSBT in both pirate competitions. I have 2 cores from my laptop on Anguillan Pirates for show but if you look at the universe challenge you will see we have everything on TSBT.

Since there are three comps all stupidly being called for the same week, it will be interesting to see which teams crunch which and which try for all three. Since realistically we only have 4 - 6 of us that compete I should be able to file both the constellation and the sat comps in the did not compete already.
Pity as I quite like constellation, always has work etc. but unless we just want to bin this comp and cancel it, then POGS it should be.

There's a few members that crunch on the other 2 projects occasionally and I hope they understand we would support other member's favorite projects in a challenge if we hadn't already issued one.

I for one have certainly started my bunkering.
As for challenges which TSBT might call I was thinking LHC or WCG or both ( not simultaneously obviously

). We could do with a boost for either.
Any other ideas & when would be a good time?

I have over 1200 pending now. POGS doesn't limit WUs like other projects so I suspect others still have lots of cached WUs. Tis the way it is.

And Megacruncher is kicking butt and taking names in 8th :boxing:

Impressive that only five of us have bothered with the challenge yet we hold 3rd. i don't intend to stay so far down .... pity a few more on the ' team ' can't get slightly more motivated. Even a few units makes a difference to the team score.

Anyway there's 6 of us on it now which isn't bad really.
We are holding 3rd very nicely. The amphibians are gaining but we still have twice their credit.

Just to let you know guys we'll be offering a pirate themed prize for this challenge - Lego, as per our other prizes. I think we'll do it randomly as per our other challenge prizes but will confirm details ASAP!

3.30 am start this morning to fly to Norway only to get to airport and find flight delayed 2 hrs. Seriously want to go back to bed. Hopefully my wee assistant will keep everything ticking over for competition. Now I'm out the door guess I can expect the systems to down tools.

Looks like all plans for 2 pirates in the top ten have been scuppered by a fastgeek coming tearing up the list. Would demand a keel hauling for the scamp but you have to admire the rate of knots he's flown up the list. The geek obviously has cores.

I'm clinging to 10th by the skin of my teeth. That's the price you pay for bunkering sometimes. Start at the stop, but have your butt kicked down the list throughout the challenge.

TSBT finished 4th from 16 and Anguillan Pirates finished in 14th - again not last
