Do GPUGrid tasks checkpoint?
And if your computer crashes, will it automatically make GPUgrid wus error out?
cheers, I'll get crunching on this yet
This may take some time

I can't say with 100% certainty that they checkpoint in the normal way we understand CPU tasks do, but I've re-booted my GPU systems many times before without shutting down the client and the tasks have resumed.
I have however had, urm, shall we say alcohol induced malfunction of the carbon based lifeform, and lost work as a result. If there are toys to play with, little fingers sometimes can't help poking around....
GPU grid is pretty stable after they fixed the server side issues a week or so back and it pays mightily well, so ask away - there's plenty here who can help.

The clock rate of the card seems a little high to me (but I haven't the 9600 so I can't be sure about that).
Since you are running under Vista, you could try de-clocking it just a bit with the Nvidia NTune tool.
Don't worry about the "MDIO error" that happens all the time and is a symptom rather than cause.
