Hello and thanks for the welcome. I'm slow, but if I don't have another 2 year break, I might hit 100k total eventually
I only had SETI and Seasonal Attribution/BBC (forgot what name I used before, however) running in my distant past, so I've recently discovered the joys of WUs that may even finish in the same day!

Welcome on board.
Enter e-mail here for SAP or here for BBC CCE.

If you can recall the e-mail address you used (and still have it), you may be able to recover the SAP/BBC work you did even without the name/password combo.I only had SETI and Seasonal Attribution/BBC (forgot what name I used before, however) running in my distant past....

#6 Hello fae Aberdeen
As you might have guessed Aardvarks are quiet nocturnal creatures, hence my late response to your welcome.
Anyhow I am patiently waiting for a replacement power supply to upgrade to 1000 W from 600 W. Which struggles and crashes trying to supply my Q6600 @3.6 GHz, and the new toy from eBay. one 9800 GX2 (which is also handy for making toast).
I'm running GPU Grid along with WCG, with Seti & Climate Prediction as fall-backs.

Welcome to the forum! Most of us are pretty nocturnal too.
I hope you get your toys working soon.
Cheers

Thanks guys. The new PSU arrived yesterday, took about two hours to extract old one. Had to work arround water cooling system (for CPU only).
But now working cool as a cucumber, and ramping up the speed. Q6600 now sitting at 3.6 Ghz & stable (I think !). The 9800 GX2 is sitting at stock speed at the moment. But I have tried an experimental 25% OC on the GPU's (and shader clocks) & 10% on memory. This seems to work fine, but I'm "jist too feart" to try it yet on a WU. I've been getting failures on a couple of WU's from GPU Grid, which seems to point to the WU's as others are reporting similar problems with same units.
Anyhow I've blethered on for long enough now.
Bye for now
Keith
