Hurrah for 340 million! :wav:
As for
As for
Hardly! Even if you mean day rather than week, and I'm sure you do, it is, happily, not true. :) There were just 2 days in the last month when we crunched less than a million with our worst day being 994K. No not that bad really.we're slowing down, now producing just under a million a week

Im afraid I am also part of the slow down.
My system had boinc disabled due to heat as my room is far to small to curtail the heat output of the core i7 and the 2 x 260's. Even at stock speeds and no gpu crunching the system was getting dangerous during the day when i wasnt here. The problem appears to be the chipset rather than the cpu so i need to work some bits out there.
(the chipset was hitting nearly 70 C)
I have bought an air con unit for when im in but i can't justify the bill for running it 24/7 when im not...
Might have to ditch the nice looking lian li v1110 case for something less pleasing to look at but full of holes and fans. Bit of a bugger though as that case was over 200 notes.

Holes and fans are what you want. And some bad weather. It's quite cold in Edinburgh tonight so at last I can get the full farm back, full on.

Actually meant 10million a week. We had got to 10mill every six days (peaked at 1.6mill a day) but have dropped to every eight (or so) days now.As forHardly! Don't get me wrong, this is still a fabulous throughput (which puts shame to my meager contribution) and I was more going for 'the signs are there but we're beating the crisis' rather than 'we're slipping'.
Ach, nevermind. Well done eevryone for whatever effort they can give! :)

Not sure what to spend on the case there but I can say the Antec 900 and 1200's are impressive on the cooling as I'm sure others are.
Full out in a single bedroom with no cooling the chipset on my i7 with 2x 295's stays at 45C with the Antec set to max fan speed

Any talk of a slow down is strictly relative and the fact is that we are surging ahead ever upwards.

I see that BOINC.Italy has noticed someone a cweeping up on 'em...
Ducati 749
... more like a thundering stampede really and they've noticed it for some time which is why they've been hiking up their RAC to over 1M in the last few weeks....
By the way... is 400M on the 4th of July intentional or just a coincidence ?

We are an unstoppable Juggernaut - 8th in the world by RAC.
And, by Temujin's stats at least it's a case of 380,000,000 Now!
Strange, it seems like it took us less than 4 days to rack up another 10 million!

If we can hold our current daily output we should go 5th by RAC very soon.
I have replaced my nVIDIA cards with ATI today so hopefully that will see a futher increase (once I can work out how to flash an ASUS board I accidently booted with the update BIOS USB stick installed when it decided to fail and erase the BIOS completely DOH)

CPDN produced the goods with a very handy 153K update.
400 M will be ours by Friday. 25th will be ours by 4th July. :) 8)
Best of all, if we keep this up we will be UK #1 well before Xmas. The gap between us has shrunk, according to their own stats to less than 99 million!
Even if we only erode that by 500K per day we will make it.

Yep! a most valiant effort I would say they celebrated overtaking 1M RAC on the 13th of June with a big meeting in Bologna. And they have maintained it ever since... Unfortunately it will probably not be enough to save them... 8)jockmacmad2 wrote:Looks like world top 25 has moved out some I take it Italy have upped the ante.
... If anyone wants to send a message of encouragement and wish them happy holidays! I can translate it an put it on their board....

By the way I think we made over 400M.... or shouldn't I have said that ?
[comment from moderator: Yes but you should have said it as 400,000,000 Now!!! ]

Actually 25th place will at worst be delayed until the Weekend.
Yes some fraternal greeting would be very appropriate. Nothing too brutally triumphalistic obviously - we reserve that for Team Scotland.
Feel Free to act as TSBT ambassador to Boinc.Italy
Soon we shall need ambassadors to Belgium, Holland & China too.

An Italian puddy tat?
Not sure people would like it if we changed to Team Sylvester :)
If we keep up yesterdays daily output we would go 4th by RAC.
EDIT: Looks like we may move up 1 in global RAC on the next update to 6th.

Some say he only understands input in C++not me.
Some say he only knows 2 facts about Ducks and both of these are wrong
All we know is he crunches faster on our custom built Mainframe than any other cruncher
