Yes, a situation where we can do 400K one day & 8 million a couple of days letter makes precise prediction tricky.

With just 36 days of 2009 left we only have to average 2.78 million per day to bag a billion by the end of the year. If Collatz and Milkyway can keep upright for even part of the time we should be fine.

Absolutely. Although I think I'm going to get demoted to 11th unless stoneageman suddenly gives up. On the other hand you should be up in 5th place by the time of the next Boincstats update. 8)

Yerse, Canada seem to have been particularly hard hit by a bug in the CPDN stats which caused no less than 23 teams 8 digit losses yesterday.

Fortunately, TSBT were spared :) as were most of the bigger UK CPDN teams with some exceptions, notably OcUK who let us past to claim that elusive, if no doubt ephemeral, UK #5 place.
