Yeah no point having computers in my place in Scotland. The outside world and things like broadband are too remote lol To quote the BT engineer (who called before leaving Inverness to make sure someone was in lol)

Broadband? Not in my lifetime

As I have to feed the thirst of the Electric Key God they will only run for about 2 days before it all cuts as the key is limited to how much you can load up!

I'll wave on the way past ya'll.

Not looking forward to a bloody 16 hour drive unless it snows then 24 hours here I come -.-

After an 18 day lay off [you lucky lucky fellow - I got 9 days and work phoned me on most of them!] he's crunching again. Only 122K in the course of Monday but he's managed 44K in the first hour of Tuesday so it's looking good!

Happy New Year Folks !

Yes back and slowly trying to bring the machines up.

As ever this seems to be a non-trivial task that will more than likely take the rest of the week.

Had a slight issue as the CPU fan failed on 1 i7 and the CPU temp went to 101 degrees. Strangely this machine is one of the ones playing up.

Hope to have more running soon though :)
