I am told that "Perseverance is rewarding". Mind you, if you feel like kicking something, it might be good idea to use soft toys as the alternatives tend to be painfull...

By the way kaspersky registered the virus yesterday just after midday and released the update early this morning (3:07 - UK site)... it is possible that you got the Trojan before you downloaded the update to AVP. :?

Good to see you back ! :D

Well thats good isn't it why did i get it.

Anyhoo i was a wee bit premature as when i re did it with it being windows 7 it keeps the old install as windows.old and because i did not delete it straight away as i forgot it got me again  so then its been off all night as i slammed my mouse down in temper and it smashed up so have had to go tesco this morning to get another and have just sorted it out AGAIN now.

Trust me to get a virus before the flipping update.

A Power supply and a mouse, thats beinging to be an expensive upgrade!

I remember when I got my ATI5970, got it home after driving 40 miles to Overclockers as I could not wait to get it delivered only to find it was too big for my case. Next week return trip to buy HAF932 tower case.

No you don't. Even with all the problems in just a few days that investment has been repaid at a rate of about 35 credits per penny. I'm sure that some of my CPU upgrades in the pre-GPU era didn't give that rate of return even over their lifetime.

it is a problem though that with a monsterously productive machine you feel it's downtime so much more than a trickler
