Liked the Megabyte thingy.........Made me me :) ...............Just lost my Dog a few weeks ago, Boris .........Had to be to put sleep, he was a stunning looking Boxer when he was in his prime,he was 14 yrs old which is amazing for a Boxer Dog and it was like losing a great/best friend........... feeling a great sense of loss and it was one of the most difficult decisions I`ve ever had to make but the Vet said it was the kindest thing to do.....Buster Gunn wrote:Welcome John. Sorry about Boris. They are man's best friends. I had to put Buster down 3 years ago due to lymes disease. (He's the Malamute). I found the best thing to do was to find another "best friend". That was Obi, the golden.Just lost my Dog a few weeks ago, Boris .........Had to be to put sleep, he was a stunning looking Boxer when he was in his prime,he was 14 yrs old which is amazing for a Boxer Dog and it was like losing a great/best friend........... feeling a great sense of loss and it was one of the most difficult decisions I`ve ever had to make but the Vet said it was the kindest thing to do...........he was an amazing character with an almost human personality.............A dog is truly Man`s best friend
Good luck.

Too soon for me to even think about a about another dog, if ever .............but I was drawn to the subject when I saw your profile pics..............I digress at this point now and refer you back to Lymes.......as you well know it is carried by ticks...I watched a Documentary on these mysterious diseases that are cropping up now, Lymes was discussed along with another mystery ailment Morgellan`s and the conclusion that they came to was that they could be ET in origin, maybe carried her via Comets / asteroids or even the Earth passing through the tail of a Comet. An old wives tale to some but but an increasing amount of scientists are now giving these theories some credence. Is it a coincidence that these visitors i.e. comets etc were considered harbingers of doom and associated with the word coma...........they are are the bringers of life and it`s nemesis. In the beginning of life on Earth, Oxygen was a poisonous element to the simple life forms that existed then i.e. aenaerobic prokaryotes( I apologise for any spelling mistakes) which botulism is an example. That organism dies as soon as it comes into contact with oxygen. We can create the ideal conditions for it`s survival in e.g. a tin of salmon...........open the can, let oxygen in, the botullinium bacteria die almost immediately but during their time in the vacuum inside the can they produce waste like every other living thing and it is that excretia which creates the lethal toxins that we find deadly and many cosmetic companies find so lucrative because of the muscular paralysis they cause. I would smile at that idea but my Botox has just kicked in lol. So who knows what life forms are hanging about out there in the nether regions of space capable of living in enviroments that we would find hellish. Are they our Ying to their Yang and have they survived and evolved to an intelligent level?.............The Mind Boggles,,,,,,,,,,,Well this is turning into a novel so I`ll cut off for now and bore you some other time....lol.............Best Regards to all........JTDBuster Gunn wrote:Sorry about Boris. John, I saw that show on the history2 channel over her in the states. It was eye opening.
My favorites are the ancient alien shows. I personally think Von Daniken is a genius.

Sorry for the delay in replying to your last message, I must confess that I watch these type of documentaries on the ancient alien theories etc, however I would personally recommend Carl Sagan,Stephen Hawking and of course "Old Albert" to be placed in the genius category. Eric Von Daniken is a genius, but only at making money! Sorry that is my opinion on Eric.JTD
